Silver League Sprite Contest [archived]

Hello and welcome everyone to the Silver League sprite contest-

Premise;

• This contest is a place to come to test your spriting abilities, and more importantly, have fun. This is a contest in the sense that fellow spriters will be competing in varying rounds based on the subject of the round. Submissions will be accepted up until the date of a round's end, after which they will all be judged, and there will be an acknowledgment of first, second, and third. This is not a tournament, but rather a continuous contest, and points will be recorded on a scoreboard.
  

Rules;

• Follow all preexisting forum rules
  
• You may only enter one sprite per round (unless otherwise stated). You may not change/edit your entry once it is submitted, so do not post until ready.
  
• Try to keep your sprite at or below the b/w dimensions (96x96 pixels). Having a much larger sprite than everyone else makes it hard to judge everyone equally.
  
• Please no joke/troll entries. They will be ignored. If you continue to post troll entries, even your legitimate entries will be ignored.
  
• Do NOT steal another persons work and submit it as your own. You will be caught, and permanently banned from the contest, and there will be repercussions outside of the contest.
  
• Please don't pester the judge(s) (unless I deserve it).
  
• If making a sprite involving a 6th gen Pokemon, please do not use someone else's sprites, even if they have given permission to use them. This contest is based on your skill, not someone else's.
  

**Important- Please upload your image somewhere it won't disappear. NO temporary-only image sites. (I suggest hosting on either tinypic or photobucket, provided you have an account so they are saved, or on deviantart.)

Everyone post in that thread until you have 5 posts. Make it look constructive, but please, this is the only way I can think to fix this issue..

(Well I guess it was too much to ask for people to actually /listen/ to the 'do not post yet' in the thread title)
If you read, you'd see the parameters for the first round are not assigned yet. It /could/ be for any type of sprite, but the rounds will be narrowed down to specific applications of spriting (like splices, revamps, trainers, etc).

Does the palette have to come from the two Pokemon being fused, or can it be custom made to better fit the design of the fusion?

I suppose it can be custom. I'm grading your fusing abilities moreso as is.

Well, I've run imto a slight problem. I can't post the URL to my fusion because I just got an account for this forum. Can I e-mail it, or does it have to be through here?

Hey Guys- Don't use imgur. Even when I reposted Yoshi's link it wasn't working. I reuploaded it to Tinypic and then it worked.

Nevermind, I see what Yoshi did wrong. You don't copy the url at the top of the page- you right-click on the image and select 'copy image location' and place that between the image tags.
I didn't even notice this was what was wrong at first.

If you're still confused, Tinypic does this for you under the 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards' section.
