I get what you're saying but blue shoes would look weird and i didn't have any spare colours and brown shading for the hair I felt would work

As I said, it's a design choice and it doesn't take away from the grade.

They look like they might be 56x56.. though some might be 64x64. Definitely not larger though.
(Large bossmon like Steelix and Rayquaza are rendered as many parts).

For the most part it looks good, though I take issue with the lowest back spike- the shading on it with the highlight just isn't right. Man, I almost forgot to submit this but here it is, Noivern. I tried getting the pallet to be 15 colors like the PMD mugshot, but I have a version with more than just 15 colors if you'd like to see it instead.

There's too little use of a darker shade for shadow, much less multiple shades in order to fit the style. The outline looks like it's double pixelated as well. Anatomically, the eye is too small and the small antenna that's farther away is larger than the one that's closer to us when it should be the other way around due to perspective. I used brendan as a base to create Gen 3 karasu
I recoloured brendan, erased his backpack and added the scarf. I think this is one of my best works.
