Pokemon Distrust Updated 3/28

I AM DONE!
Fun Fact: Dangan Ronpa was originally going to be called “Distrust.”
It’s not really a crossover, but the plot’s the same as the first two games… Well, more the first than the second… Anyway~
I was trying to think of idea for a Pokemon game… Whiiile playing Dangan Ronpa: Despair Girls. I Googled “Pokemon/Dangan Ronpa game” and got nothing. I thought that was blasphemes and I decided to create one instead.
Of course the first chapter is just a warm up chapter, but it doesn’t mean that I didn’t spent a whole lot of time into it. So I'm probably going to update this one chapter at a time.
The Plot
The plot of Pokemon Distrust is uh… Pretty much the same as Dangan Ronpa. Teenage students, all were selected to attend a “special” school for raising a certain type of Pokemon, and basically being a “prodigy” at it.
And then there’s you. You were picked for reasons unknown. Perhaps you won the lottery among all of the teenagers ages 15-17 in Japan. Maybe you’re special and you just don’t know it. Who knows?
There’s a problem with this school though. Everybody’s trapped inside of it with no way to contact the outside world. They had their Pokemon taken away and they have to start fresh with a new one of their type. The only way out, is to murder somebody and get away with it.
TL;DR Summary: You're suck in a school, and the only way out is to kill somebody and get away with it.
So it’s a murder mystery/detective game… Kind of like Dangan Ronpa, but with Pokemon sprinkled in it… The first chapter’s pretty short, but it’ll get a bit longer as I go, and a lot more interesting I’m sure. And I’ll try to add more to the battling part of it… The official games aren’t that long, so how am I supposed to make them any longer?!
I am planning on making the game at least two hours long, which is the average free RPG Maker game.
Features
There’s two different versions of it- one that’s censored, and one that’s not. Of course I plan on drawing (or at least doing my best at it) some of the things where I just put a sprite over it instead, to make things more dramatic, but I don’t want to waste hours of my time on something that nobody’s going to be paying attention to. Maybe some other time.

Known Glitches
Sometimes during free time, if you go into the kitchen, it will transfer you back into your room. I have no idea why this is, and I'm sorry if it happens to you... I think I fixed this though.

Uncensored version has pictures with blood on it... I mean, the pictures depicts blood. If I ever decide to do any nudity, it would be censored despite what version you choose to download. - Spoiler:
- As soon as you can leave the gym after getting your Ditto, you have to go to the kitchen and talk to the green haired guy named "Vangelis." He will ask you to gather everybody in the dining room once you're ready.
After you're in your room, go to bed.
Free time!
Leave your room.
Talk to Vangelis.
Go to the kitchen.
Talk to Kokoro
Return to the hallway and talk to Tamiko.
Talk to Vangelis after the cutscene.
To get to every class trial, you have to go through the elevator in the room labeled "first floor." (The first floor you walk into after being in the gym.) It will be on the very left side of the map.
Fun fact: My fiance was playing the first Dangan Ronpa game while I was making this game. He was complaining about how he couldn't find every little piece of evidence and how he thinks that he has enough evidence to find the killer, so that's why I decided not to have it required for you to find each little piece of evidence.
*At this point I'm going to refer to everybody as "somebody" to avoid spoilers.*
Talk to your desk (right side. Next to the stool.)
After somebody asks you something, go north and go through the blue door.
Talk to the person inside of the room after the short cutscene.
Leave the room and talk to everybody in this hallway. Talking to one of them will trigger another cutscene.
Go to bed
Free Time! x4
Leave your room after the cutscene. Go upstairs and into the garden. (Directly south from the stairs.) Talk to the person who's in front of the water.
Go to bed.
Go back to the garden.
Talk to the um... Elephant in the room.
Then talk to... The other elephant in the room.
Leave the room, go downstairs and into the hallway with all of the dorm rooms.
Go into the room left of yours, and step inside of the bathroom.
There's a couple things in the lower right corner. Talk to the thing at the very corner of the room.
Go back upstairs and into the first room north of the stairs that you can see in the first screen. (The wooden door.)
Go back to the hallway with the dorm rooms and go through the first room on the south side. (Two doors left of your room.)
There's a... Thing on the desk... Ignore how the game made it look and talk to it.
Go back to the elevator taking you to the Class Trial room.
So at the start of this chapter the player says something about wanting to check on everybody. Leave the room.
From now on I'll refer to the rooms as "N#" and "S#," so if I say "Go to N1" you need to go to the very upper left of the room. Your room is S3 because it's the third room at the south of the room. Get it? Good.
Talk to N1 and N2, and then go right into the big room. There's only one person in here.
Go to the second floor and through the red door at the top right of the room. There's a student in here.
And finally, go to the third floor. I'd recommend going into every room. The rest of the students are up here.
The counting is kind of strange. Sometimes it works perfectly. Sometimes it'll send you back early, and sometimes it won't count them all properly. If the third thing happens, talk to Masaru over and over again. (This is important dammit! An emergency!) That should fix it. If it ends before seeing all of the students, don't worry. It's not actually important that you talk to every student. It's not going to mess anything up.
Anyway, after the cutscene... Free Tzime! x4
And then a cutscene, and then Free Time again! x3 or 4. I think it's 3.
Free Time again, only once this time.
After the cutscene, go into the "Big Room" to the right of the hallways with the dorms, by the T.V.
Go to the third floor and into the third classroom. (Third one down.) Check out the book on one of the desks.
Go to the Science Lab that's almost directly in front of the classroom you were just in. Stand to the left of the sink where you'll see a door. Go through it.
Read everything that you can on the wall until a cutscene happens. You'll be teleported to the Big Room after a while. Stand next to the person and talk to them to activate the next cut scene.
Go into the kitchen where you first met Vangelis and talk to the fridge.
You can find somebody in
The third floor
The art room
The nurse's office
The second classroom
Or the third classroom.
After the cutscene, step on the same tile next to the sink.
After that cutscene, go to bed.
Go back to the Big Room that's to the right of the dorm hallway. Talk to the person staring at the T.V.
Go to the room with the white floor on the first floor. The one that you would go to to get to the dining area. Talk to somebody until you get a small... I dunno if you would call it a cutscene or not. Do what you think you need to do and then go to the class trial room.
Go to the new floor. Find the stairs and go inside of the room right below them. Talk to the person inside, and then go back to bed when you're done exploring.
Free time! x3
Cutscene!
And then Free time again!
After that, go to the kitchen and talk to the person there.
Go to the library on the third floor. Check out the middle bookcase.
Go to bed.
Library. There will be a cutscene on the way there, but that's not exactly important right now.
Bed. You may talk to the person on the way there, but it's not required.
Library
Bed- WAIT A SECOND! You'll run into something on your way to bed!
Go to the fourth floor, and then the class trial room.(s?)
After getting your first reward, thus, starting the next chapter,
Go to the fifth and final floor. Find the couch and to into the room left north of it, into a "Bullshit Museum."
Pay to get in, and then look at the counter.
(If you actually don't have 20 Pokeyen on you, there's a trash can with a Big Nugget on the fifth floor. You can sell it to the Monoursa? in the room right to the "Bullshit Museum." If you ACTUALLY waste it all before going to the Museum, there's a "Mart" on the second floor with infinite amounts of supplies you can grab and then sell!)
Go to bed once you're done exploring this new floor.
Free time! Times like, eight or something.
Free time after the cut scene... Again.
After Free Time, go to the fifth floor into the museum you were at before. Look for the Amber (replica) and talk to it from the side for another cutscene.
Go to the hallway with all of the dorm rooms and hug the north wall and go right until another cutscene happens. You'll be teleported to a different room. Look inside of the desk. (Right side.)
Turn down your volume for this cutscene.
Go to the third floor and talk to the person standing by the room with the gold plaque by it.
Talk to stuff until you get something. I mean, there's a thing that kind of stands out, for example.
Talk to the person standing next to the door after the cutscene.
Go to the fifth floor and go inside of the EV training room. (Right of the Museum.)
Talk to... One of the elephants of the room, and then go to the class trial room.
After the class trial, SAVE, and then sit down on the stool.
There's four endings, and three choices. Choosing one can get you two endings. You don't really have to walk around for the bad or the middle endings. Once you choose the RIGHT answer for the good ending, you can actually continue playing the game. Riiight after a cutscene.
Go to the fourth floor, north wall where the "stat trainer dorms" are. Go inside of the first one and check something out. (You only need to check one thing out.)
A person will be there when you leave the room. Talk to them, and then go to the fifth floor.
Go to the room located at the bottom left of the fifth floor and talk to the people inside.
Go to the art room on the third floor. (The room in front of the stairs.) Talk to the person inside.
Check out the painting of a... The one right from the painting of a window.
After a couple of cutscenes, go to the library and talk to the person inside. (Same person.)
After a couple more cutscenes, go to bed.
Go to the third floor and check out the new thing in there.
Go to the last class trial and finish the game!

- In Naomi's bathroom, there'll be wild Pokemon. I know that it's annoying. I'm sorry.
I don't know why, but the picture that appears during the second motivation looks weird. Sorry.
For some reason, the Free Time event for this chapter doesn't work until you go around the little pond. If it happens to you, just go around the pond. At least until I finally figure out why it happens.

Shiori/Player (17) (I seem to like making the player characters look like genderbented versions of each other) was selected for who knows why? They’re an average trainer at best, with a different range of types of Pokemon in their team. Though they love each and every one of them, and they would do *almost* anything to get them back.
Of course, I don’t care if you want to replace this sprite with your own. I think the games are a lot more fun when you’re playing as your own persona.
Vangelis (16) was selected for being a professional at training flying types. He’s unusually calm most of the time, but everybody has a end point. He’ll snap at anyone if he gets too stressed out. The way he sees it, he has to keep calm and think about the situation he’s stuck in. To start doing just that, he searches the entire school for anything that could be helpful to him in the future.
Miki (15) was raised to be a proper young lady. She was selected for her ability to raise bugs at a young age. She doesn’t really know the meaning of “fun,” and is afraid to do anything unladylike that would upset her parents and peers.
Tamiko (16) is a girl who always think of others, both human and Pokemon, before she thinks of herself. She was selected for her ability to raise steel types to their full extent. She doesn’t let much get to her, but when she’s mad, she’ll get mad enough to be violent about it.
Yuuka (16) loves finding out how to make her Pokemon stronger than ever before. She was selected because she was especially able to raise ground types to be nearly unbeatable. She can be slightly energetic at times, which makes her easy to approach.
Daiki (17) was born and raised in the always-growing city. One time he was taken to a farm on a field trip and he absolutely fell in love with the nature that’s been taken away from him before he was even born by the city growing more and more artificial. Since that day on, he wanted to raise grass types. He was a straight A student in Pokemon academies through elementary and middle school, before he was chosen to be the grass type trainer of Accourt Academy.
Kokoro (16) is a bubbly, cheerful girl. She was selected for her ability to raise ice Pokemon. She tends to find the good things in horrible situations, but everybody has a breaking point. She has a great passion for cooking, especially for other people.
Katashi (16) is a short-tempered, violent boy. His pretty body made a lot of people confuse him for a girl, which he hates. Born and raised in a bad neighborhood, he was able to gather up the money for a few sessions at a Dojo. Because of that, he was able to connect with fighting Pokemon.
Yori (17) is a quiet, mysterious boy. Though maybe that’s only because of the situation he was forced in. His father died in a car accident, but he claims to be able to talk to his ghost whenever Yori visits his dad’s grave. Because of that, he has a special connection with ghost Pokemon.
Miyako (16) at first glance is a fairly angry girl, but the reasons are probably related to the situation she’s in. When she’s pushed to a corner, she can’t calm down. Selected for her ability to tame poison type Pokemon. Her parents would try their best to make her happy, no matter what, and she appreciates and loves them more than anything for that.
Naomi (17) loves the water, but more than that, she loves water Pokemon. She loves staring at them and feeling a little envious when she sees one swimming away so quickly nobody would be able to catch it. She may have a history of abuse.
Ayame (16) has rich parents, which means that she always have people after her hand in marriage. She have been selected for her ability to raise dark type Pokemon. Her smiling face makes people want to approach her automatically, rather she wants them to approach her or not.
Setsuko (17) was selected for her ability to raise rock type Pokemon. She loves her family, Pokemon, and friends to death, though she’s not sure if she can actually kill to see them again. She can be curious at times, but she’s mostly on guard when she needs to be.
Haruki (17) has been raising fire Pokemon ever since he could get his training license. At first he just chose to make fire Pokemon his primary type for warmth in the cold, harsh winter that will roll around in his town for half of the year, and to toast food when desperate, but he grown to love them.
Masaru (16) has been selected to tame dragon type Pokemon to perfection. He can be sarcastic to make light of serious situations, just to stay sane. He tries to stay calm in bad situations, knowing that freaking out won’t do him any good, and could possibly get him killed.
Kane (17) loves electronics and knowing how they work, and loves knowing how electric type Pokemon works even more. He wanted to build machines to maybe someday help create a world where nobody has to work, because machines will do everything for them. (As unrealistic that idea is.) He also has a thing for video games- both playing, and making.
Takis (16) has a special connection to psychic Pokemon. His parents didn’t seem to care much about him, so he had to turn to psychic types. For reasons unknown to him, psychic Pokemon have always been attracted to him. He usually won’t socialize until somebody talks to him first, and that’s partially due to his parent’s neglect. He gets distracted kind of easily.
Monoursa (???) is a robot in the shape of a Teddiursa, and NOT AT ALL a parody of a very popular character. *Shifty eyes* Nobody knows who’s behind it. All that is known is that the one behind this thing uses these robots to see everything at every angle, and to make sure students are “punished” properly for breaking any rules without having to actually show their self.
On hind sight, I should’ve kept a normal size sprite around. ^^;

- The picture of the deaths of chapter five were beautifully shaded and highlighted and everything. I spent all day working on them. So of course my laptop had to destroy them! Which is why the pictures of chapter five are so crappy.

- The music is by two very talented composers- Masafumi Takada (Dangan Ronpa 1 and 2 OST) and Shoji Meguro. (Persona 3 and Persona 4 OST) For some reason I kind of felt like the OST for Dangan Ronpa and Persona sounded similar, so I wanted to add Persona’s OST. That’ll probably change to just Dangan Ronpa music by the end of me making the game.

well then it seems I missed chapter 2 well I may be able to start with chapter 3 how many chapters for this game are there going to be?

when episode 4 is up I can start recording when I have new headphones and can continue because there would be 2 more episodes

there is a problem with the release of chapter 6. Im playing through it at the moment and at the beginning of chapter 2 (of the current chapter 6) it makes an event continuously happen when you go in and out of the bathroom and the game will not acknowledge you have a weapon. hopefully your able to fix it.

Nah, not yet. After Xenoblades X, Fire Emblem Revelations, maybe Pokemon Yellow if I have the money after FE Revelations, and maybe Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes. I'm probably gonna start on the spriting though.

okay 1 thing i've noticed is that depending on what you do you can't continue through chapter 1. if you don't look at all the evidence before you go in the elevator you can't get out of the elevator. also for some reason haruki is standing still on the 1st floor, Ayame still likes to hang out trying to get full on water and you can continously read books for some reason >_>

Well, my fiance told me that we won't have an Internet connection for two days starting sometime tomorrow so I'll play through it for the thousandth time then since I won't have much else to do.
