I would like say a few things about the team. I specifically made the following EVs for Politoad so it can utilize its offensive side more. You might be thinking - "Wouldn't that make Politoed frailer?"

My answer to you - not really. Before I made the set, I DID run some calculations this time.

68 SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Politoed: 252-296 (65.6 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 56 Def Politoed: 316-373 (82.2 - 97.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I did try to make the team balanced, so I added Ferrothorn for obvious reasons and Manectric. Manectric is a great Pokemon to have. 1 - It gets access to Intimidate in its Mega form, 2 - It is faster than most of the Pokemon provided in the tier.

You would be fairly surprised about Dragonite since it has the set for the less used Mixed variant. I run this set just to abuse the rain provided for Politoed. It may seem weird, so I'll break it down. Dragon Dance, is mainly for the speed boost, the attack boost might be useful for ExtremeSpeed. Hurricane is obvious for what it's for and same goes for Draco Meteor.

Well, I think the team has much more room for improvement and I would like to see some thoughts on it. Smile

Very nice team. I'm quite liking the look of it. I haven't seen a offensive Politoed in a while. I know Specs and Scarf were common sets in Gen 5. Glad to see it back in action Razz Overall, the only problem I can see is how reliant you are to the rain. I would honestly suggest a Rain Dancer as a back up just in case Politoed is Knocked out. (And because of the back it's offensive, I can see it happening quite often.) If I had to nitpick (Which I will), I would reconsider the Dragonite set. Dragon Dance doesn't see like it's needed. It just needs enough Attack Investment to KO most 'mon in the tier with E-Speed. Dragon Dance could then be replaced for Roost or Thunder depending on your pick. Of course that is what I would personally run. Props to you though, I think the team will work great.
