A sprite I'm not disappointed in
The second sprite I've done so far the first sprite I've been proud of. Feel free to shoot me down and criticize everything about it.
don't ask to see the first one I did, someone will see it eventually ~v~

I'm impressed you did running sprites. Most of my Over World work is plainly standing or walking. Then again, I am able to put significant amounts of detail into them--I think so, at least. What this needs is detail. My recommendation? Head over to Spriter's Resource or just look up online various Over World sprite from the games, and examine how they look design-wise.

Fixed, I fixed the hair movements and added the crest to the shirt and shading to the hair then made two more over worlds with him sitting down and with the sword. I also took your advice Morel and looked at the Rival, Ace Trainer, and Blue sprites and fixed little things that didn't match up around the leg area I also complicatedly got rid of the black outline.

The trainer sprite's neck is a little... Huge. I'd suggest making it smaller to show the form of the face more, and also moving it to the left a bit. And The darkest color of teh hair shoud be darker (Dont worry i have this problem all the time XD) And there are 2 dark skincolor-ish pixels on the face itself, It would look better if the shade you used there was a lighter one.
But overall it isnt horrible. And looks original.

Yria pretty much covered what I was going to say, but I still have a few things to add. Firstly, the arms have a slight case of "noodle arm", or in other words, they aren't stiff enough. Another thing that bugs me is that the shading is coming from the opposite side compared to official Pokemon sprites, but it is consistently shaded, so that's a plus.
Re: A sprite I'm not disappointed in
Yria, the two dots are supposed to be a scar on his face
But I fixed most of the problems I fixed the mirrored shading, moved his head, and re-positioned his right hand onto the side of his body instead of behind. I also added two more overworlds because why not.
