the back story of karasu

karasu a trainer from the hoenn region who aspired to be a pokemon trainer on his 5th birthday when he got a egg from his father. karasu would take that egg with him everywhere even to the Rustboro pokemon academy. people would pick on karasu when he walked around with that egg because he treated it as if the egg was a living being. people thought the egg was dead cause its been a year since it was given to karasu. when people tried to take the egg away from karasu he ran away into a forest. karasu made a little treehouse to hangout inside and looked after his egg with a face full of tears. but just then the egg hatched and the room turned into ice. a baby snorunt hatched from the egg karasu was welling up with tears as his partner for life has finally hatched. 6 years had passed since the events from when karasu was 5 and 12 year old karasu and his partner snorunt were the best trainers at rustboro academy. karasu and snorunt even took on rustboro academy's principal and gymleader Roxanne and won. a few years later karasu graduated at the current age of 12 and started collecting gym badges with his snorunt. karasu is now 15 years old and who knows what lies in store for him and his glalie. maybe when the 18 year old karasu sprite is made we will find out.

These are really cool! I don't see any miscolouring or mistakes like that, only a few suggestions. The five year old Karasu looks a little young, maybe three(?), and also really similar to the original sprite. It's not that big a problem and I know how hard it is to make young sprites, especially male ones, since there are so few existing sprites to pull from. Also, if all three have the same scarf you may want extend it on the five year old. The twelve year old is my favourite out of the three, he looks so cool! Only thing is his hair style and jacket design aren't quite consistent with the other two. Fifteen year old Karasu's pose looks kind of stiff and his facial expression makes him look less mature then his twelve year old self.

Overall these are some awesome sprites with a decent backstory to go with them. Now I want to go try de-aging some of my sprites...

also 12 year old karasu is atm in the process of being edited because i was going to let him go through a depression stage but now that i realise it im modifying his jacket but leaving his scarf. furthermore 5 year old karasu is really hard to make seeing as i used gen 5 preschooler male sprite to make him but i still think he looks like a 5 year old imo

Hes fixed now from the sprite hospital and has a half smile and has his bandanna covering his eye his jacket is fixed and hair is fixed!

Trishade i made your main sprite which i assume is your main sprite (and i assume your a girl if your using it) into a child i think it came out pretty good.

Also 12 year old Karasu looks even cooler now. Thing is, he looks even older now and adding depression to the backstory seems a little gary sue-ish.

Ah... It has been a while... OKAY! To the thing at hand! Really like the sprites you made. Also, really nICE(puns ) backstory for your character. Also, really nice baby Trishade sprite, but the head looks a little...squashed?...I think. I can't really put my finger on it. I've been working on my own "aged" sprites, but I can't post 'em because my dinosaur of a computer officially gave up trying to internet, so...I can't post sprites in the immediate future.

Your welcome! I was really having spriter's block so it was helpful to get back into spriting after a weeks break (ok, not that long ).

Yria/Mara LB, I know how you feel. I'm not particularly short but there are people at my school who are so tall that I'm terrified that they'll fall and seriously injure someone .

Also, I've been brainstorming ideas for an evil team. I was thinking something like they want to expand cities and industrialize or something like that. So they'd be more similar to team Rocket than the other teams, mostly with the goal of making money and such. Only thing is I can't come up with a name for them. Is that a good goal and any name ideas?

Thats a really good idea, but I'm drawing a blank on names...Team...uh...yeah, I got nothing...

hey i have a idea how bout we work on this evil team together i have a great name team quartz seeing as quartz is the hardest mineral to find underground and quartz is AMAZING!!

Hmm... Team quartz sounds a little too natural. I'm thinking team slate because they want to start kind of from a clean slate or something like that...? Also thanks for offering to help. I'll consider working together but I'd at least like to solidify the idea and such beforehand.

you could go for something like Team Forge. that would want to forge themsleves an industrial empire ect. by burning up the natural world to make way for their goals.

Team Forge sounds pretty good if a little... dirty sounding. I was thinking they would be cleaner technology like if you look at smartphones their cases are usually smooth and flawless. Team Forge sounds less like skyscrapers and more like factories. Does that make sense ? Regular people wouldn't agree with their goals if they wanted to build factories and pollute everything. They aren't supposed to be Apple themed ! I was just using it as an example for the "clean" technology thing. It's sort of like how people usually think of sci-fi technology.

That's an amazing idea . I was thinking not everyone would think they were "evil" so it's especially fitting. It still works with admins and all the same structural stuff as the evil teams! Thank you so much 13gamer2000!
