Transparent Backgrounds in MS Paint Empty Transparent Backgrounds in MS Paint

Hello! I am new to digital art and I am having some trouble. When I save something with MS Paint whatever the background color is gets included. I looked up a way to make the background transparent and all I got was a trick that uses a feature in MS PowerPoint. There must be an easier way to do this. Thanks for your help!

Just use a more sophisticated program like gimp (which is free) or photoshop and remove it after the fact

But you can't use paint to make the background transparent. I mean you can just draw the image in paint and then use another program to remove the background and make it transparent.

I suggest Gimp. It's what I use.
