I mean, Alolan Meowth is a thing, so there's at least a 95% chance of Alolan Persian.

Hmm... what if an alolan form of a pokemon evolved into a whole new species? Like for example, if there was an alolan scyther, it wouldn't evolve into an alolan scizor.

I don't know what the hell Courtney's on, but I think I want some.

it's killing me a little bit that unlike red, the other protagonists aren't voiced, I really wanna know what they sound like. I do understand why that might be though. I laughed when he breached 2 sectors in five seconds, just like in the game. But damn Courtney is a crazy girl, think I could get in on whatever she's on too, Freak? Either way I liked the episode, now I've gotta stop procrastinating and get on with this darn work.

Wait is Courtney a psychic or just insane? She does have the purple hair that all gen 3 psychics had so I wouldn't be suprised if she was.

So the newest Generations episode is out, here you all go.

Ok I gotta say, this one was just purely awesome! They somehow managed to protray Kyogre not only as some crazy monster out to destroy everything, but more of a god. It clearly understood what Archie was trying to tell it and it was having none of it.

For those of you whom prefer accessing Generations episodes through the Silver League...





I must say, these three are most certainly my favorites thus far - specifically the Sinnoh episodes, but perhaps that's my bias for Gen 4 eeking through.

I lost track of this thread a bit ago, otherwise I would've added them in here too. For now though, I'll say my thoughts on them. The deoxys episode looked pretty cool visually and it was an interesting story with those nosy reporters finding the footage.

I enjoyed the gen 4 ones though. The first one certainly seemed creepy and all that, no wonder she asks for help getting through the forest, I wouldn't wanna go through all that. Maybe we'll see a bigger reference to this when they get round to the gen 4 remakes.

The Galactic episode felt really satisfying though. Although they failed to make a new world, it was kinda satisfying to see that Cyrus had his wish fulfilled and he was content in the end, kinda making him one of the few who got their wish in the end.

I must say, despite my own attempts to make sense of the Pokemon World within the realm of plausibility, Generations' doing so is giving me cause for concern.

Each time a legendary such as Deoxys or Giratina appears, they appear so impossibly majestic and powerful - hardly an entity to be even understood, let alone trifled with - and then a ten year old child just plunks one of them in the face with a pokeball and stuffs the creator of the universe into his pocket.

But... C'Est la Vie.

Ok the one with giratina was definetly the best since it actually gave closure to something that the anime and games never really adressed - Cyrus's fate after he goes to the distortion world.
The Old Chatteu one had some very creepy scenes but the ghost at the end felt pretty cheesy and didn't seem creepy at all. That chancey looked like it was about to fucking murder everyone though.

My only criticism of this series was that there was not a lot of action; then episode 9 happened.

What, you mean Kida?
Bryce Papenbrook did the voice of Buck, who did so many other characters in anime and video games. I couldn't unhear just about every other character he did the voice for.

I sometimes feel ashamed when I recognize VAs in other works. A sign of my in-taking a more than healthy amount of animé. Then again... is there such a thing as too much animé?
