I meant for this sprite to be a version of a character I made a while ago.
It is my first sprite so, I can't call it good or anything...

It's not very good, but a nice try for a first try. Try making the jacket so cartoonish and give it some shading, and if you want it to fit the theme of what I think your going for and you still want it to be blue, try darkening it to a Blue-jean-like color. I'm not sure how that will turn out, but i see it going better than a bright blue. Good try though!
