I'm probally stil in school XD or in Hungary the only problem with Hungary is that there's no wi-fi Razz

. Jup I needed to be the one who lives in a villige. Altough I could try jumping in with the piggies to get atleast a little bit of a conection.

They don't have to be, that's just a design choice they made for the d/p badges.
Reason being I say they don't have to, imagine trying to do the rainbow badge in monocolor.

I kinda want to do a 100% scratch round. I feel like it would be cool and would let us sharpen our skills at scratch, but a lot of people might avoid that round for it being scratch.

I second the scratch thing because I need more practice with it and it's really fun to do! And maybe have it be scratch anything, like a free-for-all round (since some people might be better at scratching somethings than others)? So you can make scratch pokemon/trainer sprites/mugshots and they can't be from a base (maybe post a progress sheet like this https://i.imgur.com/8hx5das.png to show that it is 100% scratch). Just throwing some ideas around ^^

Wow, I've been meaning to respond to this but just didn't. I'm kind of in the same boat as Yria here. I'm going to be gone to somewhere without wifi for the majority of the summer. Even when I'm somewhere that has wifi, I probably won't have my computer to sprite... However, if you do this in the last week of June or so, I only have one exam time exam so I'll probably be available then. Don't worry about me if everyone else is only available in July. I might be able to find a way to participate, we'll see. A spriting tournament sounds really fun. Very Happy

Can it be a custom trainer, or does it have to be directly linked to Pokemon?

I'd say you can do custom trainer. The idea was to keep to the Pokemon style, mainly.

For the judging, could we have multiple judges judge each round so that way a judge can still take part in the contest, and just have the other judges judge their entry? This would also help with coming to a more accurate grade as one judge might spot something the others didn't.

Yeah, I've seen it done before where if a judge enters, another judge grades there sprite.

As far as multiple judges judging one sprite though.. I feel that would only delay judging more. Something like that would only be employed in a tournament.

It may delay the judging some, but I think we could make it work (we as in whoever the judges end up being). I understand not wanting to, though. Maybe once the judges are decided, we could see if timezones allow it to work out or not.
