Truant Durant? Empty Truant Durant?

Just saw that Truant was Durant's hidden ability. What exactly could you do with it? I feel like it's pretty trollsy on Nintendo's part, but there probably is a build with it.

I think the only thing it's good for is exploiting the battle maison by using Entrainment, as the AI there don't switch.

Truants only purpose and information on it is that every two turns the pokemon will not do anything but what dragon arbock said is valid. Truant is a useless ability and should never of existed it only causes pain on good pokemon such as slaking.

But truant was made so that slaking wouldn`t be overpowered (correct me if im wrong)

It was ikey, but it still makes no sence for it to be Durant's hidden abillity, since its two normal abillities make it good enough.

I know this is a bit late but can duarant use skill swap if so you could make it so your opponents Pokemon can only attack every other turn

It can't skill swap, but it can learn entrainment, which just replaces the other pokémon's abillity with Truant, but it still keeps the Durant's abillity Truant. The effect disappears when the poké switches out, though :/
