How many times has Ash risked his life?

- Irrelevant and super funny:
- At the start class she asks, 'Does anyone want to volunteer their poem or song to be analysis right now?' I raised my hand and when she called on me I am pretty sure that her jaw literally dropped. Stuttering, she asked me whether or not I think that is a good idea to pick this poem and if there is enough there to write an essay on? I answered, 'Yes,' with a neutral expression and calm voice. She goes to the computer to look up the lyrics while saying, 'Let's look at two poems today.' After she got the lyrics up on the projector, she read it out load in this monotone voice that completely missed the rhythm of the song. She asked me to explain my analysis to the class and I blow her away! She was a leaf and I was a jet's engine on with the throttle set to the max! I think that her eyes glazed over when I started talking about the profound implications of the changes between first person singular pronouns and first person plural pronouns.
That was the best 10-15 minutes of my life I have ever have had in an English class. Oh man... it was just great.
I am writing an essay on Pokemon and it would be helpful to know exactly when and how Ash has risked his life or limb for Pokemon, his or otherwise. So far I have
1: 'Ash vs flock of Spearow' scene from the first or second episode
2: Ash sheltering Squirtle from falling bombs with his body
3: Ash goes into storm to save Charmander
4: The bitter sweet 'Let's all be cold together' scene where they all almost freeze to death.
Can you think of anymore off of the top of your head? Also, only the first 82 episodes a.k.a. Indigo League count.

Traveling through the world of pokémon is dangerous enough. Any animal you meet could kill you, either with lighting, fire or freezing you to death.

Would you be counting the first movie with the Indigo League? Because that whole thing where he was turned to stone while protecting Pikachu.

It is a really touching scene. However, trying to explain it in 2-3 sentences seems like a stretch. I would rather use those words on something easier to understand.

No problem. Taday in Anglish clas I told onother stutent that there math was rong becas the unets do not mach.
In a completely unrelated note, I have decided to make a spreadsheet cataloging all the times Ash has set aside his self preservation in order to protect his Pokemon, others Pokemon and wild Pokemon. I plan on taking this data and start doing statistics. I have been re-watching the entire show and am currently on 82 and I would really rather not spend 27 1/3 hours of my life re-re-watching anything.
