Fan Alolan Forms

So, this thread is solely dedicated to us artists to make out own Alolan forms for Pokemon.

So...I'll start off.

Alolan Magcargo! I know Alolan forms are only Gen 1 Pokemon, but screw it!!

Ahh, I remember that, still love it and totally didn't borrow the idea of the coral at all or anything for Magcoral.

That Mime Jr is so adorable. I like all the others as well, I'd use that magcargo.

Oooh fun! ....Is what I thought before I realized how hard it was to come up with original ideas. The few I did come up with are mostly recolors. And it's only because whenever I did some research on Hawaii to get inspired, they've already been done! Agh!


The first sprite was actually done by Quanyails. I just changed the color.
Skrelp would disguise itself as rotten kelp, but because the only sea horses I could find that are in Hawaii are in aquariums which are kept clean, posing as a rotting, poisonous kelp would stick out among the healthy kelp. So I changed the color of the supposed kelp, gave it's body a healthier color and made it look not high... Mostly. It would probably be a downgrade from the vanilla Skrelp as a pure water type, but it's not necessary to defend yourself in an aquarium.

Stormy Altaria. Yep. Water/ThunderIguess.

Hibiscus Meganium, since the hibiscus is the Hawaiian state flower... Actually more specifically it's the yellow hibiscus but that's boring.
Stupid flower had so many different shades of red though. I'm not touching the stupid think anymore! Enjoy as it is- a messy, stupid red flower dinosaur!

Okay so there's these seals called the Hawaiian Monk Seal. They love rolling around on the sandy beaches of Hawaii and they're so CUTE! *Ahem* So ground/water Sealeo. This one would probably be the most likely to happen out of the four seeing as it's the closest thing to what an Alolan Pokemon would be.

Well... At least the Sealeo was fun to make.

Alolan Shuckle!
When Shuckle were imported to Alola, it found its obsession for coconuts! After a while, they began to look like them. (You are what you eat) Sunbathing Shuckles ran into the problem of being eaten by other Pokemon, so they had to find a way to suffocate them, thus the longer tentacles and ears to hear enemies coming. And it got sad.

Hey, look, a heavily redesigned Torterra. Probably Dragon/Steel because eh.

Original Pumpkaboo sprite made by Wobblebuns. I got the idea an hour before Halloween's over for me during something else that I was doing. It's quarter to the first of November now so I still got it finished on Halloween, mostly.
I'll probably edit with a more shaded version later. After Halloween.

During winter, (especially in Canada) wild white rabbits have a better chance at survival than brown rabbits because they can hide in the snow from predators. So Ice Lopunny. I couldn't decide on what shading around the ear ice I liked best.

And I was thinking, "What if Pumpkaboo happens when somebody murders a pumpkin?" So... Pumpkin Pokemon before the murder.

Those Alolan forms all look great.

its skin isn't water its just blue with a singular green island with a tree on its back it symbolises a globe also it evolves
its evolved form represents a mountain with grassy summits and it has toe jam

I personally am of the opinion some Alola forms ought to be of the Normal persuasion.

Ah, yes, I'm also still presently among the living by-the-by. Likely ought to remain so for a time with my advanced education coming upon a reprieve.
