Heart gold nuzlocke

So I was thinking of starting a nuzlocke on heart gold can you guys suggest some pokemon I could use their move set and you can suggest a Nick name (nothing inappropriate)

you can't really suggest pokemon for a nuzlocke tbh seeing as you get what you get and you don't get upset

We actually could suggest Pokemon, but it will depend on your ability as a trainer. As Nuzlocke rules go, only a single 'mon per location. However, if you're able to keep each Pokemon from dying that you capture, you'll eventually build up an excess.

Should it come to that, we could suggest--out of the ones captured--what would work together best. And though I can't recall where the Name Rater is in HG, you could always ask for nickname ideas, too, and rename it after the fact or whatever.

Yeah that was what I was kinda thinking cause so far I'm about to challenge first gym I'm just trying to train for a bit I've got a level 9 zubat level 10 pidgey level 8 metapod level 9 rattata level 12 cyndaquill and level 10 bellsprout so nothing good really yet

grind some more until ratta metapod pidgey and cyndaquil evolve
I learned from the current pokemon yellow nuzlocke im doing that its better to grind like hell (swept brock with a butterfree no joke) Metapod evolves at lv 10 pidgey 18 cyndaquil 16 ratata is 18 Im pretty sure

What Morel said is actually a pretty fun idea. Whenever you're further in the game and are about to do a major thing we suggest what pokémon you'll use to do that part of the story or gym.

So I got really bored of grinding so I challenged the first gym under levelled and I didn't lose a poke so now they are all around level 10 and I'm gonna do some more grinding on the next route
