Haha, this is very true.

The Lake of Rage map used to contain a town with a Gym, which is probably why you can fly there in the final game.

The abillities Cloud Nine and Air Lock were both added in Generation III, even though they have the same effect. The abillity Soundroof was also added in Generation III and the abillity Cacophony was planned for the third generation. Soundproof and Cacophony would have had the exact same effect.

There is a protein in the human body called Pikachurin, which is named after Pikachu, and is essential to life I guess. (?)

Missingno is not nearly as harmful as people make it out to be.
Glitch City, however..

Missingno will revert to a Rhydon if left in the PC long enough. 'M will do the same, or evolve into a Kangashkan if given a rare candy.

That proves it! Pokemon is essential to life!

Clefairy was almost the mascot, so that would have been named Clefairin instead!

In pokemon GSC If you traded yourself a Missingno from RGBY the Missingno would convert itself into a johto region pokemon and if you traded a johto region pokemon to RGBY it would convert into a missingno.

And in order to trade a GSC pokemon to RBY you need to preform something called the Johto Guard glitch, which involves doing the Celebi glitch first to obtain a the GSC glitch pokemon with an index number of 255, which has the ability to hide everything in the party below it.

Lombre is based on the Kappa , a mythological creature of the Japanese folklore .

Golduck and Ludicolo can be also assumed as a Kappa .

Pidgey can learn fly (YOU CAN RIDE A PIDGEY.), but Scizor can't. Therefore its wings are useless.

So Wailord is pretty much a blimp Laughing

Arbok used to have different pattens for each region, but this was done away with in gen 4. In gen 1, it also used to have zigzag markings on the back of its neck.
