Sandslash competitive?

Sandslash is my favorite pokemon and i want to bring him into competitive, and wondered if he is competitively viable and if there is a move set i should use?

I'll do some research and get back to you on that

Sandslash is not the greatest in competitive battling but I think ever pokémon is strong in their own way.
Sandslash has decent hp, good attack and defence but bad sp. attack, sp. defence and speed.
Sandslash moveset:
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sandrush
Nature: Adamant
Moves: Rapid spin, Earthquake, Knock off, Stealth rock/Sword dance
Ev's: 252 Hp, 252 Attack and 4 defence

This moveset makes him a bulky sweeper or support. Rapid spin let's you get rid of those nasty stealth rocks.
Earthquake and knock off is for coverage and power.
Stealth rock is handy if you want stealth rock on the opponent's side. Sword dance is handy if you want to set up for stronger hits.
