So, I just got onto the Gym Leaders page cause there was nothing to do in the chat and I've decided to build a team cause I'm bored. Hence, I've covered the team with reference to the Gym Leaders. No, they are not related to type but more of to a "signature" themed style as appeared in the banners.

Gorloquoo (Hippowdon) (M) @ Leftovers/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Atk / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind/Toxic/Stone Edge
- Earthquake

A spread of 252 HP/ 252 Def Hippowdon has the bulk to withstand attacks from Mega Pinsir and Charizard X. However, it will not be able to take hits from hard-hitting special attackers. Thus, this spread is going to take 2 hits from LO Thundurus' and Mega Manectric's HP Ice which is very crucial when you want to get your rocks up. Whirlwind is useful in scenarios where a Pokemon is trying to set up, especially a physical one, it's just not gonna happen with Hippowdon. Toxic is for status damage to break walls and Stone Edge is viable to hit Flying-types like above mentioned, Thundurus or Talonflame. You might want to give Rocky Helmet to cripple physical 'mons.

Blight (Volbeat) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Tail Glow
- Baton Pass
- Confuse Ray
- U-turn

Volbeat initial role was support enhancer but I've come to learn how annoying it is to battle Blight with it so I've added Confuse Ray. U-Turn is there so that you won't get completely outshine by Taunt. U-Turn is also a pivot move if Volbeat gets trapped by Unaware (which in this case, there's no point in setting up). I've put the EV's in these way due to Volbeat's lack of physical defense while also leaving 8 Sp.Def EV's as so to make it live a few hits.

Heart (Gardevoir-Mega) (F) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Hyper Voice
- Focus Blast/HP Fire
- Psyshock

Gardevoir is the main offense in this wet dream team as it fast and strong enough to cripple any Pokemon. Although it won't outspeed certain Pokemon like Latios, it will certainly able to take a hit with the help of the 16 HP investment and its amazing Sp. Def stat. When enhanced with 2x Sp. Atk from Volbeat, anything is possible. Although it is a beautiful beast, it is a basic glass cannon to Scizor and Metagross, thus HP Fire to caught them by switch-in. Focus Blast can also be used but not guaranteed an OHKO. Focus Blast can be useful for dealing with Bisharp and the unexpected Mega Houndoom, although Hyper Voice is already there lol.

+2 232 SpA Mega Gardevoir Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 200 SpD Scizor: 296-349 (86.2 - 101.7%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
+2 232 SpA Mega Gardevoir Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Metagross: 337-397 (111.9 - 131.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO (oh wait nevermind)

LowRes (Blissey) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled/Wish
- Heal Bell/Protect
- Seismic Toss

*sigh* I can't believe I let myself do this but the magnificent LowRes makes an entrance. This Blissey is you main wall. It decently stops physical attacks while blocking out special attacks completely. Chansey is better. Since LowRes does prefer Blissey on a large extent over Chansey, we are using her for a support wall. I choose Thunder Wave over Toxic due to the fact that Toxic is a free turn for Gliscor via switch-in. Thunder Wave also has a chance to 'parahax' while also halving the opposing Pokemon's speed. Heal Bell is a great move to use since it cures your party's status conditions. So if you have a intoxicated/paralyzed Mega Gardevoir, this is your plan B.

Lazarus (Salamence) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 180 Def / 80 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump/ Earthquake

Initially, this spot was for Dragonite. But to see how it just dies before doing anything useful, I got rid of it. Besides, the whole team dies to hazard stacking, so I had to input Salamance as a bulky Defogger. Salamence role is to basically slowly taking out the opposing Pokemon until it dies, that's if there are no hazards - keep it alive if they still have a stacker. You might ask, "Why not Draco Meteor?" Draco Meteor is basically a death fodder move because if it's on into a 1v1 and you have x0.5 Sp.Atk, and the opposing Pokemon is a Ferrothorn, you're screwed. Plus, Draco Meteor doesn't hold much variety to easily finish off opposing threats.

Fang (Raikou) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball/Extrasensory

THREATS:

Mega Diancie - if Hippowdon doesn't stay alive for long enough, it's game over if you choke.

Mega Metagross - again, as mentioned before, Mega Metagross' high offense can easily break the team. Since Salamence can't OHKO it, 0 SpA Salamence Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Metagross: 158-188 (52.4 - 62.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO, I suggest you play around the match until it's dead.

To be honest, I really had no idea to this last Pokemon. But seeing how almost everything gets knocked out by Azumarill, Raikou will take the spot. Since Banded Azumarill can one-shot my Blissey with Superpower and 2 shot everything in my team, Raikou will be needed for the momentum. Volt Switch acts as a pivot and the other for coverage. I honestly think that I would personally would have gone with Assault Vest Raikou on a normal team but seeing how it's special capabilities are needed, Specs are good enough for an item.

So, to conclude, I only got up to 1398 with 1 loss on the OU ladder. I got lazy and wasn't really bothered to battle anymore so I apologize for the lack of proof. There really wasn't any significant battles but I'll double check my replays to see if there are any noteworthy plays. Overall, it was a nice team to make and I really enjoyed battling with it.

This team is pretty good. The only big problem I see is that you lack a strong physical attacking pokémon, so you will be walled by a strong special defensive pokémon.

I also don't think that the 252 in hp are good on Blissey. Blissey already has a monstrous hp stat and increasing it only changes a few guaranteed 3 hko's in som chances of 2 hko. I sugggest putting some ev's in special defensive to give it even more bulk.

I know the possibilities of having a Sp. Def wall blocking my team out, that's why Mega Gardevoir is carrying Psyshock. The presence of Chansey is not that common in the ladder and I have Seismic Toss if worse comes to worst. Also, there is no reason to not run full HP since investing in Sp. Def would be stupid as Blissey already has high Sp. Def. HP helps to block out Secret Sword from Keldeo, or opposing Psyshocks. It also helps to cushion physical attacks.

Anyways, thanks for your suggestions.

I was also thinking of exchanging Raikou with something else that's physical and Electric.

The 2 best physical electric types (Imo) are Eelektross and Electivire.
