RMT: Mega Pinsir, OU Killer (Hyper Offense)
Hello everyone of the SL Fourms, Free here today with an RMT ! This team we have today is Hyper Offense and it mainly focuses on one of the biggest OU threat right now, which is Mega Pinsir. Upon Mega Evolving, it gains a MASSIVE 155 Base Attack Stat alogn with a very special ability, Aerilate, which turns all normal type moves into STAB Flying type with a 1.3% boost. If play correctly, this monster Pokemon will surely destroys many Pokemons in the Metagame right now. With the introductions out of the way, let us get started!

Thoughts:
Originally, this team started off as a team to use Both Genies (Lando and Thundurus) which switched into a team on Mega Pinsir once I had added that onto my set. In combination of Latias and support of the Other Pokemons on this Offense team, Mega Pinsir was able to shine during it's testing. The tactic is to weaken or defeat threats or Walls to Mega Pinsir (Example: Ferrothorn and Skarmory) to the point where Mega Pinsir can get an SD boost and sweep or clean up with Quick Attack. If and every Mega Pinsir falls, Dragonite is your secondary Sweeper. With the Choice Band (Which is personally my favorite set for Dragonite), Dragonite can unleash powerful Outrages without the need to set up, which makes this team scarier.
Threats:
This team may be great for the offensive capabilities, but it has a MAJOR weakness to Ice. If Greninja does not take out common OU Ice Pokemon such as Mamoswine, it will put A LOT of holes into this team. Suggestions? Use Greninja sparingly... Or at least take out the Ice Threats. (Why HP Fire exists on it.)
Final Verdict:
Though it is not the best Hyper Offensive team out there, it can be used quite effectively. Like most Heavy offense teams, it is always important to predict the lead and take out threats of the opponent. With that, I conclude my RMT. If anyone wants to try this team out on PS or PO, please do so and tell me your results. Also, if you want to suggest a playstyle you want me to base off the next RMT on, please do so. And hey, you can always make your own. I'd happily rate it. Happy battling!

I like the team Free. Although, keep in mind regular landorus can use sheer force with a few good moves like psychic and earth power. Also, pinsir can carry a fighting move like close combat over earthquake as earthquake was mainly for aegislash

This team was made pre-Aegislash and on PO (Where Aegislash is allowed in OU) So it's... different. Scarf Physical Lando with HP Ice is to Bluff the Special Set and to 2HKO threats suck as other Lando and Garchomps on my team... Also i'm a fan of Scarfed Lando instead of Life orb Special Lando But thanks for replying :]]]]

Re: RMT: Mega Pinsir, OU Killer (Hyper Offense)
Pretty good. There's a nice balance here, and I don't think I would change any of the Mons, but just maybe a few changes. You probably have a reason for the HP Flying on Thundurus, but I generally find that HP Ice covers more, especially ground types that resist electric. And Dragonite can simulate the effects of a Choice Band and more by using Dragon Dance, Multiscale allows him to take nearly any hit and gives him a free set up. From there, the item's really up to preference. Weakness Policy can make him insanely powerful, while Leftovers can help him survive in the long run.

I find Choice Band Dragonite more effective on this team. This team is built to support Mega Pinsir by softening the opponent. Thundurus is just for Thunder Wave and Dual STAB, while Dragonite is to create holes and openings for Pinsir to Mega. Also, I would never recommend Leftovers on D-Nite. Roost is more effective. But thank you for responding.
