The BetaX Sprite

Today's livestream was fun to watch and this particular sprite ended up being reviewed. This particular sprite is fanart for BetaX~! I've always loved his design so I thought I'd post it here for all of you to see~ (and hopefully, BetaX himself sees this too! XD) I'm SO Happy this got a beyond perfect rating cause im really proud of how it came out~!

It is really quite a work though. If anything I envy how you get so much personality out of your works, because while the pixel work is rather stunning, the former is just something I can never seem to do right.

Your style is nice indeed, but I wonder, how long does it take to make one of these?

To be honest, it takes a while to create these depending on the design. To draw it, this particular sprite took almost an entire day to complete and that's with the pencil sketch made. When it comes to coming up with the ideas for designing a scratch build, I sketch them out first so I have all the details nessessary to start pixelating the finished product. It also helps to make beta (tee hee) sketches of the character so you get a better understanding of the characters you're making. This is why when people ask for requests, I ask them to also give me the characters personality. It helps give personality to said sprites.

TL;DR: A long ass time but it's worth it XD

If you would do karasu for me here's his personality.
Karasu is a guy that likes to have fun and can socialise well from time to time but he is mostly a slacker and just likes to let it loose most of the time.

TBH, I'm really impressed. I love what you did to me. It means alot. Some of it is not really accurate but it's my fault for not having my reference well. I TRULY LOVED IT. I'm very jealous of you. I have so little fan art of me, more like 3 fan arts. So this is all worth it to me. You know what, I'm going to make a fan-art of you then. So, I'll give it a BEYOND PERFECT!!!
