So the RP has a comic underway, and now we have an anime intro template. This is so cool. I'll be sure to keep on the look out for any animators with a bit too much time on there hands so this can happen.

I think it would be really cool if we made our own anime opening. Like make the instrumental on GarageBand or something, come up lyrics that one (or more maybe owo) of us sings, and then someone animates it. Just so we don't run the risk of stealing and it would make it a lot more personal since we can call it 100% ours. It would be a lot of work, but I think it would be fun ^^ It's just an idea I had.

I suppose clarification should be added for my previous statement. When I referred to the opening as a template, I meant in terms of general actions, character positions, and screen wipes. So it would still be very much original, we'd just be using the basic idea of it, is all.

Actually, it occurred to me the Silver League wouldn't actually need an animator to create our opening. I believe this could actually be done primarily using just regular digital artwork. Granted, we're in still in need of a good artist (an "expert" of the "animé style") who can draw characters from the Jelly RP while also creating the background art we always see in these types of things.

Be a lot like how trainer sprites worked in the later Pokemon games, a collection of poses that change and give the impression of movement, when in actuality, it is just the slide in of a new pose/angle (and even then, not every slide in animé openings is even animated, or rather has characters moving, so different poses for the same image would only be needed occasionally). Then software like possibly adobe flash could be used to zoom in on parts of an individual image and slowly slide or pan out in order to give the same impression most openings do.

As I mentioned before, we already have a template (the Fairy Tale opening, I think it is?). I mean we'd simply use their poses and movements for a basis of our drawn images, then decide which character should go where to best show off the cast and story.

But... this is just me talking in order to give a method of execution to something we may or may not desire. Just wanted to show it was possible. Theoretically.

Kitten would be a good choice simply because she has amazing digital art. It would also be good for her because she wants to practice her digital art more.

I wouldn't mind animating for this ^^ The music will need to be made first though just so it's easier for me to get the feel of it and draw accordingly

If this video was used as a template instead of having symbols on our arms like they do we have pokeballs midway through the air in our hands or slipping out of our pockets.

It's more so just a basic idea. We are not using it as a complete template, just as a basis for our ideas.

I suppose the next step in all this is providing the music for Kitten to have proper inspiration. I wasn't there for the fullness of Season One, so others would know best in that regard. All the same, the song has to be able to convey a theme that rings true to the story and events of the Jelly RP. I imagine everyone already has songs in mind. I would advise those who choose to state their desired theme to think it over before posting. Be sure whatever you pick genuinely captures what the RP was in Season One while also maintaining that animé opening feel that needs no explanation; I say this because bombarding this topic with everyone's favorite song would be a tad wasteful. I just want to emphasize that.

What works best, not what an individual simply thinks is cool (otherwise this topic will reach page ten and be comprised of nothing but random animé soundtracks).

P.S. But I'm sure it wouldn't have come to that regardless.

While using an existing song would save a lot of time and energy, there's always the option of changing bits of said song. Also, there is the possibility of creating a new song all together but that would take a lot of work. If we do go in that direction, we can probably find some free to use music and add lyrics to that. Anyways, I can't think of any fitting songs but I'l edit this post and add them if I think of any.

I would say we should make our own song simply because if this is posted on the Youtube channel (which it probably will be), an existing song would put copyright infringement all over us.

Llama is true ! I think we needs our own song too , And If we success this project , It would be very rewarding and we'll be worthy of doing this .

that song from a youtube channel is not his its made by a band and then the creators of fairy tail who are also the creators of Sword art online would be pissed if they found out the guy who uploaded the anime openings for fairy tail. So us using it if we say that we did and put a link to the song it would not be copy right infringement.

Technically, we would have to get the bands permission for it to not be copyright infringement. Also, making our own song would make it more of our own creation, thus giving it more meaning to us and making it more memorable for the viewer hearing a song they have never heard before.

There are plenty of digital music programs out there, and I plan on getting one when I get a new computer.

Also, we should probably wait to make is until we have the Season 1 rewrite for the comic done.

The good ones (the ones I'm looking at) are pretty pricey, so unless you want to make music super all the time, it wouldn't really be worth it for you.
