Favorite Video Game series?

Just something I thought I'd ask everyone about. It helps, or at least I think it helps, to start conversations when you know what things people have in common. So.. what's some of everyone's favorite game series?

As for myself;
-Pokemon (obviously)
-Kingdom Hearts
-Sonic the Hedgehog though we don't acknowledge anything that came after '07..
-Kirby
-The World Ends With You
-Fire Emblem
-NiGHTS
-Kid Icarus
-The Stanley Parable
-the Tales Series (though I've really only gotten to play Abyss and Vesperia)
-Minecraft
-Yoshi's Island (GBA and DS)

Ok here are mine in order sorta, but not really.
-Kirby(Sorry Pokemon, Kirby is just too much fun)
-Pokémon(Ok from here on we go full random)
-Binding of Isaac
-Spore(btw fuck EA)
-The Elder Scrolls
-Fallout

Mine are Monster hunter and Pokemon, i love them both equally

Mine are pretty all over the place, but I enjoy

-Command & Conquer (Tiberium Wars was the last great one)

Sonic Unleashed is one of my favorites, along with Sonic 2, Sonic Heros (just because of that main theme), and Sonic Advanced 2.

My current favourite game is a game you can get addicted to really quickly its Pokemon Shuffle Sadly to say from a tile/bejeweled/candycrush game its actually really addicting time consuming and money gobbling good

I've been playing Heroes on and off lately (even though I'm supposed to be playing/recording SA2 for a thing.. oops).
I used to play Sonic 2, but Chemical Plant zone in the bane of me- debug level select code it is.
(And the nick arcade beta with Hidden Palace zone )

But also Assassin's Creed, and Silent Hill WAS on my top three list, before Konami...
.....I really don't want to get into that right now. It's been months and I'm STILL REALLY MAD...

But also, Square Soft games. Like, all of them. Persona, (which is now on my top 3 thanks to Konami) Dangan Ronpa, (obviously) Fire Emblem, Fallout and Elder Scrolls, Lunar Silver Star, other classic RPG games... I like the mechanics of Pokemon games, but I'm honestly pretty sick of the usual plot. Though I did like XY, but that's probably because of all of the new stuff, and the whole history with the war, and Lysandre being a genocidal psychopath... And AZ, but I've mostly been playing fan games instead, since those are usually pretty dark and exciting and... *Ahem* But I really do enjoy making the perfect Pokemon.
And uhm... Xenoblades, and...

A couple series I'm starting to look into is Fire Emblem and Castlevania. A good stand-alone I recently bought too was Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Vampire rpg, hell yeah. :3

current new favourite game is Danganronpa 2: Goodbye despair (it's taken over my life)

Hm. Will I be an outcast if I don't put Pokemon as number one? Better not risk it. I must say, starting to feel old when I reflect how long ago some of these games came out... Sigh.

Used to enjoy the more openworld-esques titles like Fallout or Skyrim and whatnot, but preferring more of a linear story-telling perspective these days.

Fallout 4 is now really high on the list for me. Shovel Knight is as well. And Ratchet and Clank is also gaining ground on my list thanks to the newest game.

Ratchet and Clank. Yes, I was quite a fan back in the days of Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal (noting a title trend there...) but fell out of the series once it hit the PS3 console. Ratchet and others seemed to lose their... hm, attitude in place of a more easy-going persona.

Still thinking about seeing the movie, though.

The movie is alright. Though I suggest playing the game first, since they are one in the same.

I haven't seen the movie yet plz no spoils (just saying incase someone decides to blurt out big bits) haven't played the game either (original games I have played though)

agreed but the only ratchet and clank game I did not enjoy was secret agent clank (where you played as clank wearing a tux)

Wait, they made a full length game for Clank? I only ever knew of the tidbits in Up Your Arsenal. Hm, yes, I can see how they might pan out poorly.
