My Thoughts on Persona 3 Portable (No Spoilers) Empty My Thoughts on Persona 3 Portable (No Spoilers)

So I just finished Persona 3 Portable. And I thought I'd give my thoughts on the whole experience.

So first, let's get the obvious out of the way. This game's soundtrack is amazing! All of the songs are very memorable and they definitely got stuck in my head. Let it be known that if I had an MP3 player these songs would be on it.

Next positives on the list are the story and characters. This is actually really well done in my opinion. I enjoyed the story(Though I'm about as dense as a brick wall so don't blame me if I didn't catch a plothole.)and it was a lot better than I expected it to be. With the only problem being the ending. Which I won't spoil but I felt disappointed. As for the characters, they're good too. It's Persona, if the characters weren't good you might as well not play the game. Same goes for the Social Links, first time I actually enjoyed in-game NPCs

Now let's get the to the negatives. From what I've heard. Compared to Persona 3 FES. This game feels heavily stripped of content. Sure it was the PSP but I've seen other RPGs pull off 3d overworlds on PSP (Heck. That was the Majority of the PSP's library barring remakes.) And while the Female protagonist (PSP exclusive) is cool I still feel like alot is missing. Making this version feel more like a visual novel. Even though at points that's what Persona is.

In the end, I feel like Persona 3 is a really good game. But if anything. I recommend FES more than Portable despite Portable was the one I played.
